Job Description

As a Business Manager for the regional grocery division, your role involves owning and managing the Business P&L for the region. You will drive the regional business growth through a strategic mix of assortment planning, pricing strategies, promotional activities, and vendor engagement initiatives. Your key responsibilities include: - Developing and implementing the right product assortments, benchmarking assortment offerings, fixing assortment gaps, and regularly reviewing assortment efficiency to ensure customer relevance. - Demonstrating in-depth knowledge of commodities, regional variations, pricing strategies, vendor sourcing, regional brands, and MOP for key brand/items. - Strengthening existing business relationships by engaging with brands, closing monthly business plans, and driving overall business growth at the brand level. - Planning, building, and driving new categories or missing portfolio to maximize market share in the division. - Ensuring 100% vendor fill, warehouse availability, and front-end availability by collaborating closely with brands to achieve Delivery in Full and On Time targets. - Achieving Visi investment targets from existing vendors to enhance platform presence and increase penetration of regional brands. - Owning the category with an entrepreneurial mindset, focusing on long-term growth and consistently benchmarking product range to maintain leadership position monthly. - Driving private label (PL) category sales growth, market share, profitability, availability, and new product development (NPD) initiatives with PL regional repackers. Desired Skills: - 2-5 years of experience in Ecommerce/MT Retail is a must. - Demonstrated ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems. - Ability to identify customer needs and innovate new solutions to meet those needs. - Strong independent ideation skills and adaptability in a fast-paced startup environment. - Proven analytical thinking, project management capabilities, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities. - Extreme attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards tasks.
