Manager Billing (Hospital Experience Only)

Key Responsibilities

1. Billing Process Management

• Develop and implement efficient billing processes and procedures.
• Establish guidelines and controls to ensure accurate and timely billing, including invoice generation, payment tracking, and collections.
• Continuously review and optimize billing workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.

2. Invoicing and Billing Accuracy

• Ensure that all invoices are accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant regulations and contractual agreements.
• Review billing data, verify billing rates, and apply appropriate discounts or promotions.
• Identify and resolve billing discrepancies or errors promptly.

3. Billing System Administration

• Oversee the administration and maintenance of billing software or systems.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement upgrades, enhancements, and system configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve billing system issues to maintain smooth operations.

4. Staff Supervision

• Lead and manage the billing team, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
• Ensure staff understand billing processes, perform their duties accurately, and meet performance targets.
• Manage staff scheduling and conduct performance evaluations as needed.

5. Financial Reporting and Analysis

• Generate and analyze financial reports related to billing activities.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), such as billing accuracy, collections, and accounts receivable aging.
• Identify trends and provide actionable insights to improve billing efficiency and overall financial performance.

6. Customer Service and Conflict Resolution

• Address customer inquiries and concerns related to billing issues.
• Resolve disputes and clarify billing discrepancies to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in billing management
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with billing and financial management software.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
