As the Manager of Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Governance at our company, you will play a critical role in leading the development and execution of our enterprise-wide data strategy. Your responsibilities will include overseeing data governance frameworks, managing modern BI platforms, and ensuring the integrity, availability, and usability of business-critical data. Reporting into senior leadership, you will shape data-informed decision-making across various functions such as Finance, Revenue Operations, Product, and more. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Data Governance Leadership:** - Establish and maintain a comprehensive data governance framework including data quality standards, ownership models, data stewardship processes, and compliance alignment with regulations such as GDPR and SOC 2. - **Enterprise Data Architecture:** - Oversee data orchestration across Salesforce (SFDC), cloud-based data warehouses, and internal systems. Collaborate with the data engineering team for the development and optimization of ETL pipelines. - **Team Management & Enablement:** - Lead and mentor a team of BI analysts and governance specialists. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and stakeholder enablement. - **BI Strategy & Tools Management:** - Own the BI toolset with a focus on Tableau. Define standards for scalable dashboard design, self-service reporting, and analytics enablement. - **Stakeholder Engagement & Strategic Alignment:** - Partner with leaders in various departments to align reporting and data strategy with business objectives. Drive enterprise-wide adoption through clear communication and training. - **Data Quality & Observability:** - Implement data quality monitoring, lineage tracking, and observability tools to ensure data reliability and trustworthiness. - **Documentation & Transparency:** - Create and maintain robust documentation for data processes, pipeline architecture, and business definitions to support transparency and auditability. - **Executive-Level Reporting & Insight:** - Design and maintain strategic dashboards that provide actionable insights to support company-wide strategic decisions. - **Continuous Improvement & Innovation:** - Stay current with trends in data governance and BI technologies. Implement enhancements to tools, processes, and governance maturity. **Qualifications:** - Proven experience in implementing data governance frameworks and compliance standards. - Advanced SQL skills with experience in ETL/data pipeline development. - Expertise in Tableau for developing reports and dashboards. - Deep understanding of SFDC data structure and reporting. - Hands-on experience with GitHub and best practices in documentation. - 3+ years of people management experience with strong stakeholder communication skills. - 8+ years of experience in analytics roles working with large datasets. - Proficiency in Python for automation and data manipulation. - Deep understanding of SaaS metrics and executive reporting needs. - Demonstrated success in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
