Manager /Assistant Manager MEP (Electrical)

Electrical Coordination & Implementation

• Review, interpret, and execute electrical design drawings, specifications and MEP plans for luxury residential projects.
• Coordinate electrical elements with other services (mechanical, plumbing, fire, etc.) and interfaces with architectural/structural works.
• Support the integration of electrical systems with building automation where applicable.
• Ensure electrical work adheres to approved designs, local codes, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.

Technical & Quality Assurance

• Prepare technical submittals, shop drawings, and method statements for electrical systems.
• Review vendor documentation, product data, and equipment specifications (DBs, panels, lighting, cabling, earthing systems, power distribution, backup systems, etc.).
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship and materials meet project standards.
• Identify and resolve electrical technical issues and clashes proactively.

Project Execution & Site Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day electrical activities on site for compliance to schedules and quality.
• Ensure materials, tools, equipment, and manpower are available to meet project deliverables.
• Collaborate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders for timely delivery of work.
• Assist in coordinating electrical tests, commissioning and handovers.
• Maintain logs, daily reports, progress updates and escalate issues timely to the MEP Head.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure all electrical works comply with statutory requirements, site safety plans, and environmental standards.
• Promote safe work practices and conduct regular safety checks related to electrical systems.
• Raise NCRs/Observations and follow through corrective actions where necessary.

Essential Skills :

• Strong technical knowledge of electrical distribution systems, lighting, earthing, protection, standby power, EMF coordination, cable routing, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, schematics, design documents and BOQs.
• Proficient in MS Office and electrical design/coordination tools.
