Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Checking of lay out, levelling and surveying at the site.
Checking of drawings and quantity survey.
Ensuring that all materials used in work are as per specifications.
Resolving technical issues with employers representatives.
Quality control in accordance with IS/procedures method statements.
Liaising with the local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws.
Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site progress and the work of contractors.
Planning the work and efficiently organising the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.
Monitoring quality control and health and safety matters on site;
Preparing progress / other reports as required.
Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
Preparation / Checking of bills.
Preparation of extra items and deviation statements.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience of minimum 5 years in Building construction, Planning, Execution, Billing, Quality Control.
Well versed with Government Building Specifications, DAR, DSR, Mode of Measurement, Material Testing Parameters.
Well versed in Preparation of Weekly & Monthly Progress report.
Knowledge of MS Project / Primavera & PowerPoint presentation.
Good communication skills (verbal / written)

Open to Travel
