Manager - Ash Utilization

Position Summary:

Manager Ash Utilization

This role will play a critical part in optimizing ash disposal methods while identifying and expanding sustainable utilization avenues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilization Planning:

  Develop and execute strategies for optimal utilization and disposal of fly ash and pond ash generated from thermal power plants.

• Industry Collaboration:

  Build and maintain strong relationships with cement companies, RMC manufacturers, brick/block manufacturers, road contractors, and other industries that utilize ash.

• Transportation & Logistics:

  Coordinate and manage transportation of ash to various off-take locations, ensuring cost-efficiency and timely delivery.

• Regulatory Compliance:

  Ensure all activities are compliant with environmental and regulatory norms (MoEF&CC, CPCB/SPCB guidelines).

• Monitoring & Reporting:

  Track daily ash generation and dispatch. Maintain accurate documentation and generate periodic utilization and compliance reports.

• Vendor & Client Coordination:

  Liaise with vendors, transporters, and clients to ensure smooth operations and address any logistical or quality concerns.

• Market Development:

  Identify and develop new business opportunities and utilization channels for ash products across regions.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering / Environmental Engineering / Science or related field.
• Minimum

  5+ years

  of hands-on experience in

  ash handling, utilization, disposal, and transportation

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  fly ash and pond ash applications

  across industries (e.g., cement, RMC, bricks, roads).
• Good understanding of

  thermal power plant operations

  and by-product management.
• Proven network and relationships with

  thermal power plants, cement manufacturers, RMC companies

  , and other relevant stakeholders.
• Strong coordination and vendor management skills.
• Knowledge of applicable

  environmental regulations

  and ash utilization guidelines.
• Proficient in MS Excel, reporting tools, and logistics planning software.
