Position Title:

Position Overview

Manager – Accounts

Key Responsibilities

  1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

    • Oversee preparation and finalization of financial statements.
    • Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
    • Ensure accurate general ledger entries and financial documentation.
    • Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors for audits and compliance.
  2. SAP FICO and Costing Module Management

    • Operate SAP modules relevant to finance and costing with proficiency.
    • Ensure accurate financial postings and SAP master data maintenance.
    • Troubleshoot ERP-related issues and liaise with IT/ERP team for resolutions.
  3. Inventory & Costing

    • Monitor and control inventory accounting, physical stock audits, and valuation.
    • Conduct product costing analysis and manage standard costing procedures.
    • Track material consumption and variance analysis against budgets and standards.
  4. Day-to-Day Finance Operations

    • Supervise accounts payable, receivable, banking, and reconciliations.
    • Monitor daily cash flow and support liquidity planning and working capital optimization.
    • Ensure timely vendor payments and manage petty cash and expenses tracking.
  5. Taxation & Compliance

    • Ensure statutory compliance for GST, TDS, income tax, and other regulatory frameworks.
    • Coordinate with consultants for timely return filings, assessments, and audits.
  6. Internal Controls & Documentation

    • Develop, implement, and strengthen internal financial controls.
    • Maintain proper documentation of accounting policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  7. Team Leadership

    • Guide and supervise the accounts team on-site.
    • Conduct regular reviews, training, and upskilling of junior team members.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • In-depth knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, GST, and compliance.
  • Strong working knowledge of

    SAP FICO and Product Costing Module

  • Experience in inventory management and cost accounting.
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership abilities and people management skills.
