Role Description

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance & Compliance Manager to manage a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries. This role involves end-to-end oversight of client financial operations, including accounting compliance, audit coordination, and regulatory reporting. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, strong technical acumen, and excellent relationship management skills to deliver high-quality service and ensure client satisfaction. Your ability to navigate complex financial matters while fostering trust and growth within your portfolio will be key to success in this role

Key Result Areas:

1. Robust Delivery

  • Ensuring accounting records are prepared & reviewed in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.
  • Drive transparency with accurate monthly closure of books, timely submission of periodic MIS. Enable data-driven decisions using Advanced Excel, Macros, and Power BI.

2. Audit, Governance and Risk Management

  • Ensuring sound quality of financial statements, tax audit reports and income tax calculations.
  • Ensure timely closure of audits with close coordination with relevant stakeholders and enhanced governance with insightful dashboard presentations, reinforcing financial integrity and regulatory adherence.
  • Mitigate legal & compliance risks by ensuring adherence to applicable statutory compliances

3. Strong Client Management

  • Strengthening client relationships through proactive engagement, communication, periodic governance and escalation management
  • Foster retention and growth within the assigned portfolio.

4. Impactful leader

  • Oversee team management, focusing on retention and professional development.
  • Strong cross functional collaboration to provide comprehensive support to clients

5. Effective Practice Management

  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies.
  • Strong control over the client portfolio to manage revenue, cost , GP & collections
  • Taking initiatives for process improvements and digital transformation and taking ownership for the effective execution of those projects

6. Business & Revenue Growth

  • Boost revenue through analytical capabilities in Sales and Marketing, optimize profitability with strategic Practice Management, and enhance operational efficiency with P&L oversight.

Required Competencies, Skills, and Experience

  • Expertise in IGAAP, Working knowledge of Transfer Pricing, Direct & Indirect Taxation, Company Law & FEMA. Good to have the knowledge of IFRS/USGAAP/INDAS
  • Proficient in MS Office Especially Excel & Tally or any other accounting software.
  • Confident, Strong communication skill set, Leadership & Client Handling capabilities, Problem Solving & Decision making, Quick learner, blend for tech transformation and entrepreneurial mind set
