Job Overview :-

The Management Accountant for Engineering Design and Tooling Development will be responsible for providing financial insights and strategic support to engineering and design teams. This role involves forecasting and financial analysis and ensure correct accounting to optimize resource allocation and drive cost efficiency in design and tooling projects.

Job Roles & Responsibilities :-

Ensure accurate financial tracking of ongoing projects by working closely with design and development teams.
Monitor and analyse tooling expenses, including materials, labour, and overhead, to provide actionable insights for decision-making and optimize spending.
Prepare financial forecasts to assist in strategic decision-making. Evaluate project cost estimates to ensure they align with budgetary constraints and overall project goals
Ensure all entities adhere to a standardized tooling accounting policy, differentiating intercompany transactions from external tooling general ledger (GL) entries
Develop and present comprehensive financial reports related to tooling development to senior management, highlighting key metrics and trends.
Assist with audits by providing relevant financial data and documentation, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
Develop, manage, and optimize cash flow for tooling projects to ensure adequate funding and resource allocation.
