About the Company:

Axis Enterprises is a reputed supplier and importer of digital printing machines such as UV Flatbed Printers, UV DTF Printers, Roll-to-Roll Printers, and DTF Printers. Serving clients across India, we are recognized for our quality products, professional service, and technical excellence. With a turnover between ₹50–100 crores, Axis Enterprises continues to expand its national and international trade operations.

We are currently hiring a Senior Accountant with strong expertise in GST, import/export documentation, foreign payments, and FedEx logistics coordination.

Position Summary:

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting operations, including GST filing, import-export financial documentation, foreign remittances, and compliance. The role requires deep knowledge of international trade finance, customs procedures, and taxation applicable to a high-turnover organization (₹50–100 crores).

Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting & Financial Management:

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally ERP / Tally Prime.
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Manage daily accounting operations, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards and company policies.

2. GST, TDS & Statutory Compliance:

  • File monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9).
  • Reconcile input tax credits and vendor filings.
  • Handle TDS deductions, returns, and income tax filing.
  • Coordinate with auditors for GST audits, income tax audits, and statutory compliance.

3. Import / Export Documentation:

  • Manage all import/export documentation, including Bill of Entry, Shipping Bill, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, LC documentation, and Bank Realization Certificates (BRC).
  • Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, and shipping lines for customs clearance.
  • Prepare export invoices and dispatch documentation for FedEx, DHL, and other courier shipments.
  • Maintain accurate records for customs, DGFT, and RBI compliance.

4. Foreign Payments & Banking:

  • Handle foreign remittances, including payments to overseas suppliers.
  • Manage Letter of Credit (LC), Telegraphic Transfers (TT), and Bank Remittance Advice documentation.
  • Coordinate with banks for Form A2, FIRC, and outward/inward remittance compliance.
  • Reconcile foreign currency transactions and update related entries in books of accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with RBI and FEMA guidelines for import/export transactions.

5. FedEx / Courier Coordination:

  • Oversee FedEx / DHL shipment billing, documentation, and payment reconciliation.
  • Track courier shipments, maintain duty invoices, and verify clearance documentation.
  • Coordinate with logistics partners for timely delivery and correct invoicing.

6. Audit & Reporting:

  • Assist in internal and statutory audits, providing all required financial documentation.
  • Prepare MIS reports on imports, exports, and foreign payments for management review.
  • Ensure all tax and compliance deadlines are met accurately and on time.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 5–10 years of accounting experience in a company with a turnover of ₹50–100 crores.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime, MS Excel, and online banking platforms.
  • Deep understanding of GST, TDS, import/export accounting, foreign remittance, and documentation.
  • Knowledge of customs processes, DGFT documentation, ICEGATE, and FedEx/DHL coordination.

Soft Skills: Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Sunder Nagar, Ludhiana, Punjab: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
