Makeup trainer

• A Makeup Faculty job is to educate and train students in the art of makeup artistry. This role involves delivering both theoretical and practical lessons, mentoring students, and potentially managing course materials and student records. The faculty also needs to keep abreast of industry trends and techniques to ensure students receive a comprehensive and relevant education.

Key Responsibilities/Required skills:

• Course/Subject Delivery:

Create and deliver engaging makeup artistry lessons, covering a range of topics from basic techniques to advanced styles and special effects.

• Expert Makeup Skills: A strong foundation of makeup artistry, including advanced techniques and knowledge of various products.

We are looking for a Makeup Trainer who knows below mentioned Makeup Techniques:

• Make up theory (Base/foundation theory, products & tools knowledge
• Face Shapes theory
• Eyebrow corrections (Threading)
• Colour Wheel Theory
• Corrective make up
• Different Types of Eyes make up Cut Crease, Half Cut Crease, Double Cut Crease, Smokey, Halo, etc
• Special Occasions Makeup Engagement, Haldi,
• All Regional Brides make up
• Fantasy Creative Look: Theme Based
• Glam / Fashion Look/Red carpet/
• Air Brush Makeup &Theory
• Advance Bridals Look with air brush
• Skin Theory
• Practical Instruction:

Provide hands-on training, demonstrating various makeup techniques and applications, and guiding students through practical exercises.

• Student Mentorship:

Offer guidance, support, and feedback to students, helping them develop their skills and achieve their career goals.

• Assessment and Evaluation:

Evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and prepare them for industry standards.

• Hygiene Practices:

Knowledge of proper hygiene practices for makeup application and tool care to ensure a clean and safe environment.

• Industry Knowledge:

Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and products in the makeup industry, ensuring curriculum relevance.

• Resource & Time Management:

Manage course materials, equipment, maintain the students’ attendance records and student lab records, manage class schedules, and effectively deliver contents & ensuring a well-organized, efficient learning environment.

• Professional Development:

Attend workshops, conferences, and other professional development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.

• Professional Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills. Communicate effectively with students, staff, and other stakeholders, fostering a positive learning environment.
• Potential Additional Duties:
• It includes managing stock, coordinating with other departments, supporting workshops, assisting with placement efforts. Creative flair, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for makeup and education.

Academic or Trade Qualifications:

• Makeup Level 4, / Diploma or Certification in Professional Makeup Artistry, Media Makeup from a reputed academy. (A certification or relevant experience in the makeup field is required.
• Experienced: At least 4 years’ experience of Makeup Artist and as Trainer
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in bridal/fashion/editorial makeup.
• Minimum Teaching/training experience is 1-2 years
• Total experience-4 years(minimum-3)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
