Maintenance Technician

The ITI Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the smooth operation of textile machinery and equipment. The role involves routine preventive maintenance, quick troubleshooting of breakdowns, and ensuring minimum downtime in a high-speed textile production environment. Carry out routine preventive maintenance of textile machines (e.g., looms, spinning, knitting, dyeing, and finishing equipment). Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on production equipment. Repair or replace defective parts, motors, bearings, belts, and other components. Maintain logs of maintenance activities and machine history. Coordinate with the production team to schedule downtime and repairs. Ensure all machines operate safely and comply with factory safety standards. Use diagnostic tools, gauges, and testing equipment for fault finding. Assist in machine installation, calibration, and setup. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols at all times. Maintain a clean and organized maintenance workshop.
