Description
You are responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all machines and equipment in the fabrication unit at our new factory in Selakarichal, Palladam - Chettipalayam Frontier Road, Coimbatore. Your main tasks will involve performing preventive maintenance, attending breakdowns, and supporting production activities. You will also be required to: - Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fabrication, CNC, and manual machines. - Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues. - Attend machine breakdowns quickly to reduce downtime. - Replace worn-out parts, adjust machine settings, and conduct trial runs after repairs. - Prepare or modify parts through basic fabrication work when required. - Support installation, commissioning, and layout changes of new machines. - Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and service logs. - Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with suppliers when needed. - Follow all safety rules and standard operating procedures. Qualifications & Skills Required: - Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field with minimum 2-4 Yrs experience in Maintenance. - Experience in mechanical maintenance in manufacturing or fabrication industry. - Knowledge of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting techniques. - Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Good communication and coordination abilities. Preferred Skills (Added Advantage): - Experience in welding, lathe operation, or fabrication work. - Familiarity with CNC and utility equipment maintenance. - Basic knowledge of electrical/electronics systems in machines.
