Maintenance Technician

Role Overview: As a Quality Control Inspector, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications. This will involve inspecting materials and finished products, conducting various tests, documenting findings, and recommending improvements to processes. You will play a crucial role in maintaining product quality by following blueprints and specifications, using measurement tools, and reporting on inspection data. Key Responsibilities: - Inspection and Testing: Inspect materials and finished products, conduct various tests (visual, dimensional, functional), and utilize inspection equipment. - Documentation: Record inspection results, compile data, and generate reports on defects and reworks. - Process Improvement: Identify quality issues, analyze root causes, and recommend improvements to production processes. - Adherence to Standards: Ensure compliance with company standards, specifications, and legal requirements. - Training: Provide training to production staff on quality control procedures. - Communication: Communicate inspection results with the production team and management. - Using Measurement Tools: Utilize calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to assess products. - Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data to track trends in product quality and identify areas for improvement. - Root Cause Analysis: Investigate the causes of defects and implement measures to prevent recurrence. - Process Improvement: Suggest improvements to the production process to enhance overall quality and efficiency. - Adherence to Safety Regulations: Ensure that quality control activities are carried out safely. Qualification Required: - Previous experience in quality control or a related field. - Knowledge of inspection techniques and procedures. - Familiarity with measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management. - Understanding of safety regulations and quality standards.
