Maintenance Technician

Role Overview: As a Maintenance Technician at CBRE, your main responsibility will be to maintain small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. You will be part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function, where you will provide support, conduct preventive maintenance, and make repairs on various equipment and systems. Key Responsibilities: - Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems. - Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and perform necessary repairs. - Assist in the installation and modification of building equipment and systems. - Review assigned work orders and collaborate with other team members to track completion. - Support energy management efforts by ensuring all building systems operate efficiently. - Inspect existing installations to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations. - Utilize existing procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate information clearly and concisely. - Impact the team through defined duties, methods, and tasks as detailed in the job description. - Deliver output by following established procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance. Qualifications Required: - High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of relevant job experience. Alternatively, a combination of experience and education will be considered. - Physical ability to perform tasks such as stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. - Ability to follow basic work routines and standards and communicate effectively. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. - Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset to excel in the role.,
