Job Title: Maintenance Technician Department: Engineering / Maintenance Reports To: Maintenance Incharge Location: Fragrant Nature Paravur, Kollam Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, repair, and upkeep of all facilities, equipment, and systems within the resort/hotel premises. This role supports the overall guest experience by maintaining a safe, comfortable, and operational environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical equipment. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests or departments. Repair or replace defective parts and systems as required. Maintain and repair guest rooms, public areas, staff areas, and back-of-house spaces. Ensure all tools and equipment are safely operated and stored. Document all work performed and report major issues to the Maintenance Manager. Follow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage. Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment for events, meetings, or seasonal needs. Coordinate with external vendors or contractors when specialized repairs are needed. Monitor utility usage and suggest energy-saving measures. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and workshops.
