Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician at our manufacturing unit in Howrah, West Bengal, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of equipment and machinery used in the foundry, with a focus on EOT cranes. Your role is crucial in ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely to minimize downtime and optimize productivity. Key Responsibilities: - Perform regular maintenance and inspections of equipment, particularly EOT Cranes, to ensure optimal performance. - Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment to address any issues promptly. - Conduct preventive maintenance as per the schedule and maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities to track and improve equipment performance. Qualifications and Skills: - High School diploma or higher education qualification. - Proven experience of at least 5 years, preferably in Foundry, Steel Plant, or Crane Manufacturer, demonstrating a strong mechanical aptitude. - Proficiency in Electrical systems with a working knowledge of grinding and welding techniques to effectively address equipment issues. In this full-time position, you will be working 10-hour shifts, six days a week, at our manufacturing unit in Howrah, West Bengal. Benefits include health insurance coverage for employees.
