Maintenance Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and assign duties to electricians, plumbers, carpenters, and housekeeping staff.
  
• Perform or coordinate minor repairs in plumbing, electrical, masonry, and civil work.
  
• Monitor routine maintenance of equipment, lighting, water systems, and public areas.
  
• Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of classrooms, offices, restrooms, hostels, and outdoor spaces.
  
• Maintain logs of work orders, staff attendance, and material usage.
  
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during all repair or maintenance work.
  
• Inspect facilities regularly and report major repair requirements to the Estate Manager/Admin Head.
  
• Coordinate with vendors or external technicians when needed.
  
• Ensure availability of tools and request stock replenishments as needed.
  
• Be available on-call during emergencies or breakdowns on campus.
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 10th pass or ITI/Diploma in Electrical/Civil/Mechanical (preferred).
  
• 37 years of relevant work experience in facility or building maintenance.
  
• Good knowledge of basic repair work (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.).
  
• Ability to lead a team and assign responsibilities efficiently.
  
• Familiar with basic safety practices and emergency protocols.
  
• Physically fit and capable of managing on-ground work.
  
• Honest, reliable, and disciplined.
