Maintenance Manager

As a Maintenance Manager at ZF Wind Power in Coimbatore, India, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of CNC machines and accessories to maximize uptime through condition-based and preventive maintenance, as well as root cause analysis. Your responsibilities will include supervising maintenance technicians and contractors to ensure efficient task execution and maintaining a safe work environment by enforcing safety standards. You will be expected to monitor machine availability metrics such as MTTR, MTBR, Availability, and participate in QMS audits. Collaboration with internal departments such as Production, Quality, Purchases, and SQA, as well as external stakeholders including suppliers, customers, subcontractors, auditors, research institutes, and universities, will be a key aspect of your role. Your educational background should include a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical, along with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience. To excel in this position, you should possess a strong understanding of CNC machines and their functions, as well as knowledge of controls such as Siemens and Fanuc. Your problem-solving skills will be essential in reducing machine downtime, and familiarity with problem-solving tools, hydraulic systems, pneumatics, and relevant software like Simatic Manager, Scada, and LabVIEW will be beneficial. Additionally, knowledge of seals, O-rings, oils, and a commitment to safety and quality standards are crucial for success in this role.
