Job Title: Maintenance Engineer – Rubber Industry Location: Kundrathur, Chennai. Salary: ₹30,000/month Experience Required: 2–3 years Job Type: Full-time Job Description: We are hiring a Maintenance Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in the rubber molding or rubber manufacturing industry , specifically handling equipment such as rubber kneaders, mixing mills, preformers, hydraulic presses , and related utilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preventive and breakdown maintenance to ensure uninterrupted production. Key Responsibilities: Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on rubber processing equipment including: Rubber kneader machines Mixing mills Preformers Hydraulic presses Compression and transfer molding machines Maintain and service utilities like compressors, chillers, motors, and pumps. Execute preventive maintenance schedules and maintain detailed maintenance logs. Identify faults in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems. Monitor equipment performance and ensure machines are operating efficiently and safely. Coordinate with the production team to minimize downtime and support production goals. Maintain stock of essential spare parts and tools for uninterrupted maintenance support. Follow all safety protocols and maintenance procedures as per company policy. Qualifications: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent. 2–3 years of hands-on experience in rubber manufacturing industry maintenance. Strong knowledge of rubber machinery and general factory utilities. Ability to work independently and handle emergency breakdowns. Familiar with maintenance documentation and basic computer skills for logging.
