Maintenance Engineer

As a Maintenance Engineer at our company, your role is crucial in handling the repair and upkeep of our machines and factory equipment to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities: - Perform preventive maintenance on machines such as injection moulding, extrusion, press, and tool room equipment. - Quickly troubleshoot and fix mechanical and basic electrical issues to maintain continuous production. - Supervise auxiliary machines including chillers and printing units. - Plan and execute regular maintenance tasks to prevent any potential breakdowns. - Ensure machines are clean, well-oiled, and maintained in optimal condition. - Utilize MTBF/MTTR data to monitor machine health and performance. - Promptly address any machine malfunctions and accurately document all repairs. - Collaborate with vendors for specialized repairs when necessary. - Handle various electrical tasks including wiring, installations, and troubleshooting. - Uphold safety standards and compliance with electrical regulations. - Manage spare parts inventory and ensure the availability of critical components. - Coordinate with vendors to procure parts in a timely manner. - Maintain detailed records of maintenance work and issues encountered. - Provide regular reports to management for review and process improvements.
