Role Overview: A technically skilled and proactive professional responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of machinery, equipment, and systems. The Maintenance Engineer performs regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. Strong problem-solving abilities and hands-on technical expertise are essential for improving operational reliability and efficiency. Roles Responsibilities: Good knowledge about machine maintenance, productive maintenance, corrective maintenance and utility maintenance. Perform day-to-day trouble shooting and breakdown maintenance of CNC and industrial machines. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems efficiently. Knowledge about mechanical, PLC, hydraulic and pneumatic problem solving. Proficiency in reading and understanding mechanical drawings. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery and systems. Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of necessary tools and components. Collaborate with production, operations, and engineering teams to improve equipment efficiency. Participate in safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments. Skills Required Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field) Proven experience as a maintenance engineer in a manufacturing or industrial setting Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, pneumatics, and hydraulics Understanding of safety standards and regulatory compliance (e.g., OSHA, ISO) Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
