Maintenance Engineer

Key Result Areas (KRAs)

1. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

   Plan, schedule, and execute preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce machine downtime and extend equipment life.

2. Breakdown Management

   Respond to machine breakdowns promptly and ensure quick restoration to minimize production interruptions.

3. Equipment Health Monitoring

   Monitor performance of critical machines and maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities and equipment conditions.

4. Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

   Conduct RCA for recurring issues and implement permanent corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.

5. Spare Parts & Inventory Control

   Ensure availability of essential spare parts, maintain optimal stock levels, and control maintenance-related inventory costs.

6. Compliance with Safety & Quality Standards

   Ensure all maintenance work adheres to safety norms, statutory regulations, and ISO/quality audit requirements.

7. Maintenance Documentation & Reporting

   Maintain accurate maintenance records, machine histories, service reports, and downtime reports in ERP/CMMS.

8. Upgradation & Process Improvement

   Recommend and implement improvement projects to enhance equipment efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and optimize performance.

9. Coordination with Production & Other Departments

   Work closely with production, quality, and purchase teams to schedule maintenance and support operational continuity.

10. Contractor & Vendor Management

    Manage external service technicians, AMC vendors, and contractors to ensure quality and timely maintenance
