Maintenance Engineer

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer/Facility Executive-Technical (on third-party payroll) to manage electrical systems, air conditioning equipment, and related infrastructure in our R&D facility. The role involves ensuring uninterrupted operations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems (power distribution, lighting, HVAC controls, backup power).

• Execute preventive maintenance schedules and routine inspections. • Support equipment upgrades and modernization initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with electrical safety codes and regulations.

• Coordinate with technicians/contractors and provide basic training/support.

• Maintain documentation of maintenance activities and equipment history.

• Support energy optimization initiatives.

• Respond to emergency breakdowns promptly.

Qualifications:

• Diploma / Graduate in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering.

• Supervisor License from the Karnataka State Electrical Licensing Board (mandatory for electrical background candidates).

• 56 years of experience in maintenance, project, or service engineering (large-scale facilities/industrial settings).

• Strong troubleshooting skills with knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC controls, and power quality
