Job Description

Key Responsibilities Area (KRAs)

1. Supervise, train, and lead the maintenance team, allocating manpower and resources for day-to-day maintenance activities.

2. Develop and implement maintenance strategies, including preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance plans.

3. Ensure all electrical/ mechanical maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, implement safety protocols, and manage documentation of activities.

4. Oversee the proper functioning of all systems (Electrical) and equipment, perform routine inspections, and coordinate major repairs and installations.

5. Coordinate maintenance projects and manage the annual maintenance budget.

6. Monitor and analyses system performance to identify areas for improvement, track downtime, and manage spare parts inventory.

7. Work with other departments, such as production, to support overall facility maintenance goals and minimize downtime.

8. Support development and repair of tools and die for ease of operations / production

9. Keep updating the stocks of spares, tools and its maintenance to avoid any emergency

Educational Qualification

Experience

  • M-Tech/ B-Tech
  • Diploma/ ITI / Graduation

  • 3 Years
  • 5 Years

Technical – Knowledge & Skills

Behavioral - Desired Competencies

  • Blend of Technical Expertise
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, as well as building systems
  • Experience with planning, implementing, and managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs
  • Ability to diagnose and solve technical problems and perform root cause analysis.
  • Can read and understand blueprints, specifications, and schematics.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and ensuring compliance in maintenance operations

  • Basic Leadership and Organizational skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills to interact with staff, other departments, and vendors.
  • Ability to analyze situations and find effective solutions to complex issues.
  • Ability to work with other departments to ensure smooth operations, especially production team.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and clients.
  • Ready to attain maintenance work after duty hours and/or for an extended period
