Job Description

We are looking for an experienced

Application Developer ZOS

with strong expertise in mainframe technologies. The ideal candidate should be proficient in COBOL programming and well-versed in production support, system analysis, and debugging of batch and online applications in a mainframe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide
production support
for mainframe-based applications, ensuring system stability and performance.
Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using
COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, and DB2
.
Analyze issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business-critical applications.
Ensure adherence to
change management
and
incident management
processes.
Prepare technical documentation and participate in code reviews.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in debugging and performance tuning.
Exposure to Agile methodologies or ITIL process is a plus.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
