Mainframe Developer

You will be joining our team as a highly skilled and experienced Mainframe Developer. Your main responsibilities will include designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining mainframe applications using COBOL, IMS, and DB2. You will need to analyze complex business requirements and provide technical solutions, troubleshoot application issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. As a Mainframe Developer, you must have a strong background in mainframe technologies, particularly in IMS and DB2. Your role will involve participating in code reviews, testing, and documentation as part of the SDLC process. It is essential to ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability through efficient coding practices. You should have in-depth hands-on experience with IMS and DB2, a solid understanding of COBOL, JCL, and other mainframe tools and utilities. The successful candidate will be able to deliver development and enhancement projects within deadlines and have experience working in Agile or similar collaborative development environments.
