Exp : 5-8 Years

JD :

• 5+ years of experience with mainframe applications and database technologies.
• 5+ Years of Development experience in mainframe

  COBOL or PL/I, JCL coding

• Good hands-on experience in

  IDMS database.

• A plus would be a candidate with 2+ Years of Development experience using cutting-edge development tools in JAVA

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Learn the Astadia Factory tools to perform mainframe transformations.
• Provide expert-level mainframe knowledge and debugging.
• Provide

  expert-level mainframe COBOL coding

• Document requirements, use cases, system design, and code.
• Working experience in IDMS mainframe database
• Participate in multiple concurrent projects to completion on time and budget.
• Deliver within the scope of the project, within the scope of a Factory project, while not compromising on quality.
• Work closely with team members and clients to achieve desired results.
• Mentor junior team members on Mainframe migration tasks
• Identify and bridge knowledge gaps among team members from different backgrounds, like Java, C#, Oracle, etc.
• Thrive in an environment of collaboration and change.
