Mainframe DB2 DBA 1. Hands on experience in database administration troubleshooting for Mainframe DB DB2v10 or higher1.Excellent Communication Skills to work with Matrix teams2.Experience in SQL ReplicationResponsibility of Expectations from the Role Review Database physical structures Review maintenance Jobs and utilities associated with each structure (i.e., REORGS, LOAD, UNLOADS, RUNSTATS, IMAGECOPY)Reviewing applications access to the database structuresReview backup recovery strategiesProduction Database supportCreating database objects like tablespaces, tables and INDEXSQL Replication. Monitoring data replication and providing fix to replication issuesAbility to Monitor databasesubsystem performance issuesScheduling and running DB2 utilities against DB2 objectsPerform problem determination and provide resolution for DB2 system software and related productsutilitiestoolsReview RACF security process for controlling maintaining user access to DB2Hands-on Experience in Performance tuning Database monitoring Total space usage, Free space availability, Volume space availability
