Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a MAG Welder. The role involves performing high-quality welding using the Metal Active Gas (MAG) process, interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, inspecting and preparing metals for welding, and maintaining welding equipment. The MAG Welder will contribute to the fabrication, assembly, and repair of metal structures, ensuring precision and adherence to safety standards and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Metal Active Gas (MAG) welding techniques, including experience working with various materials and thicknesses
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols
• Knowledge of welding safety practices, quality control standards, and ability to conduct equipment maintenance
• Hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities
• Experience in metal fabrication and assembly processes
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to work with heavy machinery
• At least a high school diploma or equivalent; certification in welding is preferred
• Prior working experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is advantageous
