MAG Welder

Role Overview: As a MAG Welder, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding using the Metal Active Gas (MAG) process. Your role will involve interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, inspecting and preparing metals for welding, and maintaining welding equipment. You will contribute to the fabrication, assembly, and repair of metal structures, ensuring precision, adherence to safety standards, and meeting deadlines. Key Responsibilities: - Perform high-quality welding using Metal Active Gas (MAG) process - Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols - Inspect and prepare metals for welding - Maintain welding equipment - Contribute to fabrication, assembly, and repair of metal structures - Ensure precision and adherence to safety standards and deadlines Qualifications: - Proficiency in Metal Active Gas (MAG) welding techniques with experience in various materials and thicknesses - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols - Knowledge of welding safety practices, quality control standards, and ability to conduct equipment maintenance - Strong hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities - Experience in metal fabrication and assembly processes - Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to work with heavy machinery - High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in welding preferred - Prior working experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is advantageous,
