Machinery Operator

As a Machine Handler in the Packaging/Production Department located in Turbhe, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery essential for the production or packaging process. Your role will involve ensuring the smooth operation of machines, monitoring equipment performance, and supporting the production team to achieve quality and efficiency targets. Your key responsibilities will include operating machinery according to schedules and guidelines, setting up machines by loading materials such as packaging, raw inputs, or components, and monitoring machines during operation to detect faults or irregularities. Additionally, you will perform routine cleaning and maintenance of machines to ensure optimal functioning, identify and report any malfunctions or breakdowns promptly, and assist in minor troubleshooting and adjustments of equipment. You will also be responsible for inspecting finished products for quality compliance, removing defective items, maintaining accurate records of data, downtime, and material usage, and following safety procedures. Collaboration with other team members and supporting other packaging or production tasks will also be part of your role. To qualify for this position, you should have a minimum education level of high school or equivalent, with prior experience in machine operation being preferred. Basic mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, the ability to work under supervision, and follow instructions accurately are essential for this role.
