Job Title: Machine Shop Supervisor

Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Machine Shop Supervisor with hands-on experience in CNC and VMC machine setup, programming, and team supervision. The role involves managing daily machining operations, ensuring quality output, and maintaining production efficiency.
Immediate joiners will be given first preference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day operations in the machine shop, including CNC and VMC machining.
• Handle machine setup, tooling, and basic programming (G-code adjustments).
• Review and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate part production.
• Monitor quality standards and conduct part inspections using precision instruments.
• Plan job schedules, allocate manpower, and ensure timely delivery of components.
• Train and guide machinists on machine operations, safety, and best practices.
• Coordinate with production, quality control, and maintenance teams for smooth workflow.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in VMC and CNC setting and programming (e.g., FANUC, Siemens).
• In-depth knowledge of machining processes, tools, materials, and tolerances.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with 5S, Lean Manufacturing, or ISO standards is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Diploma / BTech / BE in Mechanical or Production Engineering (or related field).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in machining operations, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
