Machine Shop Supervisor

As a Machine Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the machining operations and ensuring workflow efficiency. Your role will involve coordinating activities related to CNC, VMC, Lathe, and Milling machines. You will utilize your hands-on knowledge of precision measuring instruments to maintain quality standards and tolerance requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure the work area is clean and organized according to 6S standards - Monitor compliance with food safety policies and procedures - Supervise Machinists, assign duties, and ensure work meets safety, quality, and production standards - Plan and schedule work efficiently to minimize breakdown time - Troubleshoot potential hazards or breakdowns in the plant - Enforce Company Rules and Regulations, including PPE and Safety procedures - Maintain ESH and ISO record keeping - Implement improvements for workplace 6S through daily observations - Enhance workplace safety and promote continuous improvement within the department Qualifications: - Ability to stand for extended periods (minimum 8 hours) - Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required - Prior experience in a machine shop environment preferred - Essential experience in programmable milling and manual turning - Proven track record of meeting production schedules and managing timelines effectively - Commitment to safety protocols and continuous improvement initiatives - Knowledge of surface finishing techniques - 4-7 years of experience in machining or manufacturing - Proficiency in handling tools and workshop equipment - Basic understanding of computer systems for reporting and monitoring tasks Please note that this is a full-time position with benefits including food provision and Provident Fund.
