Job Description

As a CNC Setter in the manufacturing/engineering industry, your primary responsibilities will include machine setup, operation support, quality assurance, maintenance & safety, and coordination with various teams within the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Set up CNC machines according to job requirements, including tooling, offsets, fixtures, and program loading. - Verify CNC programs using drawings, process sheets, and inspection standards. - Assist operators to ensure machines are set correctly for smooth operation. - Conduct first-off inspection and approve parts for production. - Check dimensions using instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, etc. - Ensure compliance with quality standards and report any deviations. - Perform routine checks of machine, tools, and fixtures. - Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment. - Work closely with production engineers, supervisors, and quality teams. - Provide feedback on machining issues, tool life, and process improvements. Qualifications Required: - ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Production Engineering. - Minimum of 25 years of experience as a CNC Setter in a manufacturing/engineering industry.
