Machine Learning Interns

Responsibilities

As a Machine Learning Intern, you will:

• Assist in building and maintaining ML pipelines for classification, prediction, and information extraction
• Work with Python-based ML stacks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, Hugging Face)
• Clean, preprocess, and analyze structured and unstructured healthcare datasets
• Contribute to prompt engineering and evaluation workflows for LLM-based systems
• Collaborate with engineering to integrate models into product workflows
• Document experiments, metrics, and learnings
• Take end-to-end ownership of small ML research or data tasks
  

Qualifications

Required:

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or related field (any year)
• Strong understanding of ML fundamentals: supervised learning, model evaluation, bias/variance, etc.
• Experience with

  Python

  and common ML libraries (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn)
• Ability to run experiments and analyze results
• Comfort working with Git and following basic workflows
• Curiosity, initiative, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, unstructured environment

Nice to have:

• Experience with

  PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face Transformers

• Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, or embeddings
• Knowledge of data preprocessing for text or time-series data
• Understanding of evaluation frameworks, A/B testing, or metrics design
• Side projects, research papers, or Kaggle work demonstrating hands-on ML experience
• Exposure to healthcare data (not required)
