Machine Learning Engineer Lead

The Data Science Lead Analyst position at Citigroup is a key role that requires you to conduct strategic data analysis, identify insights, and make strategic recommendations. You will be responsible for developing data displays that clearly communicate complex analysis and mining and analyzing data from various banking platforms to drive optimization and improve data quality. In this role, you will deliver analytics initiatives to address business problems, determine required data, assess time & effort needed, and establish project plans. Your responsibilities will include consulting with business clients to identify system functional specifications, solving complex system issues through in-depth evaluation of business processes, systems, and industry standards, and recommending solutions. You will also lead the system change process from requirements through implementation, provide user and operational support for applications to business users, and formulate systems scope and goals for complex projects. As the Data Science Lead Analyst, you will impact the business directly by ensuring the quality of work provided by yourself and others, considering the business implications of applying technology, and driving communication between business leaders and IT. You will collaborate on the design and implementation of workflow solutions, develop in-depth knowledge of supported business areas, and gather requirements and provide solutions across business sectors. Additionally, you will partner with cross-functional teams to analyze current state processes, identify improvement opportunities, and assist in negotiating for resources. To qualify for this role, you should have an MBA or Advanced Degree in Information Systems, Business Analysis, or Computer Science, along with 6-10 years of experience using tools for statistical modeling of large data sets and experience in process improvement or project management.
