We are looking for a talented and experienced Machine Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in light fabrication design, non-metallic design, and machine integration design. This role involves working on manufacturing and assembly processes, understanding machine architecture (Perf/XE and GC), and meeting machine performance requirements. The candidate will also be responsible for VPD analysis, BIQ, APQP, and cost/should cost modeling.Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop light fabrication and non-metallic components for machine integration.

Oversee manufacturing and assembly processes to ensure high-quality production.

Understand and apply machine architecture principles (Perf/XE and GC) to meet performance requirements.

Conduct VPD analysis, BIQ, APQP, and cost/should cost modeling to optimize design and production.

Visit current machine facilities to enhance understanding of component assembly and machine integration.

Conduct supplier visits to ensure quality and compliance with design specifications.

Participate in field follow visits to customer sites to observe actual machine applications and gather feedback.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in light fabrication design and non-metallic design.

Strong knowledge of machine integration design, manufacturing, and assembly processes.

Familiarity with machine architecture (Perf/XE and GC) and performance requirements.

Experience with VPD analysis, BIQ, APQP, and cost/should cost modeling.

Ability to travel to machine facilities and supplier sites as needed.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
