Job Description

As a member of the Loss / Loan Loss Reserve Forecasting and Stress Testing team at our company, you will be responsible for calculating and managing the net credit loss and loan loss reserve forecast on a $90BN + portfolio. You will work closely with the Finance teams to build forecasts for credit losses and loan loss reserves under various macro-economic and business conditions. Your role will involve participating in efforts around Comprehensive Capital Analysis & Review (CCAR/DFAST) for retail portfolios, with a primary focus on NA cards. To excel in this role, you should demonstrate a strong work ethic, teamwork, quantitative skills, and problem-solving abilities. Your ability to leverage technical and business acumen to deliver high-quality results will be crucial. **Key Responsibilities:** - Independently and collaboratively execute quarterly loss / loan loss reserve forecasting and stress testing processes for retail portfolios, with a focus on NA cards - Engage in governance activities such as Manager Control Assessment, End User Computing, and Activity Risk Control Monitoring - Collaborate cross-portfolio and cross-functionally on loss / loan loss reserve forecasting and stress testing analytics - Assist in reviewing and challenging existing models to identify areas for improvement - Understand the calculation of reserves, components of P&L, and the impact of CECL on CCAR results - Collaborate with other teams to complete requests on financial planning & CCAR/DFAST results - Conduct risk policy analytics and econometric analysis to estimate the impact of changing macroeconomic trends on Portfolio Performance Losses - Establish standardized business and submission documentation - Drive process efficiency through automation and process simplification - Implement information controls to meet business objectives effectively **Qualifications:** - 4+ years of work experience in financial services, business analytics, or management consulting - Postgraduate degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Engineering - Understanding of risk management and knowledge of credit card industry and key regulatory activities (CCAR) is advantageous - Hands-on experience with econometric and empirical forecasting models - Proficiency in analytical packages like SAS, Datacube/Essbase, and MS Office - Vision and ability to provide innovative solutions to core business practices - Strong written and oral communication skills In addition to the above details, the company strives to promote a positive work environment, values diversity, and encourages knowledge sharing and support within the team.,
