Job Description

Dear Candidate,

Looking for Network Engineer with hands on expertise on Cisco Nexus switches (7K,9k series).

Total Exp- 6 to 9 years

Work location - Bangalore/Pune

Skill- DC Nexus

Notice Period- Immediate to 30 days (serving notice period)

Role & responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain Cisco Nexus Switches (5k/7k/9k series).
Manage datacenter network infrastructure, including routing, switching, VLANs, VPC, and fabric technologies.
Perform network monitoring, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
Troubleshoot L2/L3 network issues across datacenter environments.
Implement and support Nexus features such as VDC, VPC, FabricPath, OTV, VXLAN, and QoS.
Work closely with server, storage, and security teams to support cross-functional datacenter operations.
Maintain proper documentation, network diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
Ensure datacenter uptime, network reliability, and security best practices.
Participate in on-call support, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
