Title: MS Visuals Foxpro Contractor

Location: Remote (Offshore or Nearshore)

Length: 3 months

Interview: WebEx 2 rounds

They need someone to work with the architect and BA in the space, and together they should look at the code, do a health check, then create contingency plan to replatform the application. They will create the strategy, choose tech stack and create the execution plan.

MUST HAVES:

• Must understand Foxpro logic, reading and writing code. They will be working completely independently. This person is supposed to be an SME. They have access to use AI to work on this. Expecting project to take at least 3 months for this place.
• Must also have experience with modern languages
• Experience with AI tools is a MUST
• Will be required to work EST time zone

Notes:

Legacy logistics for aviation. Microsoft Visual Foxpro 8, legacy MS tech. In 20 years there hasn’t been support or security updates, so they need to find a new solution and retire the application.
