Job Description

Invoice Data Validation

Review invoices captured through SAP Open Text OCR tools
Invoice Volume validation 400 Invoices/Day
Verify critical fields: Vendor Name, Invoice Number, Date, Amount, PO Number, Tax details, and Currency etc.
Correct misread or missing OCR data before workflow submission.
Ensure proper classification (PO vs. Non-PO invoices).

Quality Assurance

Maintain a high level of accuracy (>99%) for validated invoices.
Identify recurring OCR capture errors and raise them to the OCR Configuration/Support team.
Tag invoices with exception” categories (e.g., duplicate, mismatch, incomplete).

Collaboration

Coordinate with Procurement, Vendor Master, and AP teams to resolve missing or incorrect data.
Work closely with VIM technical and functional teams to enhance OCR performance.

Process Adherence & Reporting

Adhere to SLAs (turnaround time for validation).
Update daily validation logs and error-tracking reports.

Continuous Improvement

Suggest improvements in OCR template configurations and field mapping.
Participate in automation testing (new invoice layouts, new vendor formats).
