Role & responsibilities 40.1 To conduct daily on rounds in IVF department, COPD, and Patient wards (to check defibrillators and patient monitoring system) in order to check the equipments are operational. 40.2 To attend breakdown calls and localize the fault in the machine and to take proper steps to reduce down time of machine. 40.3 To keep a track of due date of preventive maintenance and calibration for Class III medical equipments on monthly basis and to update the PM and calibration stickers and to update the same in PM and calibration schedule. 40.4 To conduct preventive maintenance visits with company engineers for equipments under AMC/ perform preventive maintenance and calibration of medical equipments not under AMC. 40.5 To assist and supervisor company personnel during the process of calibration of Medical equipments. 40.6 To assist and supervise company engineers during the installation of new medical equipment. 40.7 To maintain a stock of essential spares and also to procure spares from local market as and when required for carrying out repairs at minimal cost. 40.8 To serve as technical consultant in order to prepare techno Commercial comparator sheets for medical equipments between different vendors at the time of purchase. 40.9 To decommission / condemn the obsolete, beyond economical repair equipments and forward it to management for approval. Supervised by : HOD Qualifications: Any graduate preferably Diploma / B.E. Biomedical with 6 ~ 8 years of experience
