Roles and Responsibilities

Job Summary

AutoCAD Designer

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with the
Business Development team
to understand client needs, space requirements, and project objectives.
Create
precise AutoCAD drawings
, layout plans, and space designs for commercial properties (retail, office, F&B, etc.).
Conduct site measurements when required and ensure accurate representation of space dimensions.
Develop multiple layout options based on client requirements and project constraints.
Participate in
client meetings
(virtual or in-person) to understand expectations and gather feedback on layouts.
Revise designs and drawings as per client inputs and internal team discussions.
Ensure optimized space utilization while maintaining compliance with design standards and safety guidelines.
Assist in
finalizing the leasable area
by providing accurate calculations and updated CAD drawings.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders when needed.
Maintain organized project files and ensure timely delivery of design outputs.

Desired Candidate Profile

Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD
(2D essential; 3D is an advantage).
5-9 years of experience in commercial layout planning or related design fields (experience level can be adjusted as needed).
Strong understanding of space planning and commercial design standards.
Ability to interpret client needs and convert them into functional layouts.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of office leasing layouts is a plus.
