Logistics Safety Head

Key Responsibilities of the Job holder · Work along with the CMO of CMSRS to develop the annual business plan and lead the team to achieve the same. · Continuously Identify business opportunities in the logistics and road safety segment using market intelligence - develop strategies to address unique requirements of the customers through an innovative approach. · Use both Go-To-Market as well as Inward queries to meet prospective customers. Work along with the marketing team regularly to collect information and work on it to convert to proposals. · A good number of customers for this business could be the Heads of Logistics safety & Road safety of large corporates. Develop a strategy for meeting this segment and understand their needs in order to develop the business. · Work on the market intelligence data generated within the team as well as the CMO and review for new opportunities. · Manage the identified projects / proposals to achieve the highest customer satisfaction by leading the team of professionals · Be a member of the BGMC team of CMSRS: take part in the regular reviews to present business progress through data on key projects undertaken; use the feedback to improve further. · Training segment has done well in the past. Grow this segment further through new offerings and innovative approaches. · Break the business plan in to appropriate projects and tasks and allocate to team members using a planning exercise. Ensure that individual members objectives and KRAs are planned in line with the business plan and the overall KRA set appropriate for the division. · Coordinate with CMO for meeting industry associations / trade bodies / Government departments/ standards making organisations (Committees) for any appropriate work. · Play an appropriate role in the analysis of feedback from customers – for example - tracking of customer satisfaction index · Be responsible to recruit resources and manage them in the team · Lead and ensure that a culture of continuous improvement is nurtured within the team. · Be a proponent of Diversity measures in work place; lead the efforts to constantly bring to fore the sensitivity on nurturing diversity and put appropriate measures in place.
