Logistics Officer

Role Overview: As a Supply Chain Coordinator, your role involves coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery. You will be responsible for handling transportation, dispatch, and tracking of goods across different regions. Your key duties will include maintaining inventory records, ensuring proper documentation of shipments, liaising with suppliers, transporters, and warehouse teams, optimizing logistics processes, and handling daily MIS reporting related to dispatch, stock movement, and delivery status. Additionally, you will need to address and resolve delivery or transportation-related issues, support in vendor management, and participate in freight negotiations. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery. - Handle transportation, dispatch, and tracking of goods across different regions. - Maintain inventory records and ensure proper documentation of shipments (GRN, Invoice, E-way bill, etc.). - Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and warehouse teams for smooth operations. - Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations (GST, E-way bills, road permits, etc.). - Optimize logistics processes to minimize cost and improve efficiency. - Handle daily MIS reporting related to dispatch, stock movement, and delivery status. - Address and resolve delivery or transportation-related issues. - Support in vendor management and freight negotiations. Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in supply chain coordination or logistics management. - Strong understanding of inventory management and documentation processes. - Knowledge of compliance requirements such as GST, E-way bills, and road permits. - Excellent communication skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders. - Ability to analyze data and optimize logistics processes for cost-efficiency. - Proficiency in MIS reporting and problem-solving skills. - Experience in vendor management and freight negotiations would be an advantage.
