Role & responsibilities

• To take responsibility for movement of inventory from source to destination for Hindustan Marketing Company, Cama Electricals Pvt. Ltd. and Sani Steel
• To ensure effective management of vehicles and drivers

• Creates monthly delivery schedule for each depot/ warehouse
• Ensures communicates plan to respective warehouse team, sales team, order processors
• Supervises creation of trip reports for each vehicle in accordance with delivery schedule after verification of available inventory and vehicle availability as well as monitoring of loading as per the same
• Ensures seamless depot operations for Hindustan Marketing Company, Cama Electricals Pvt. Ltd. and warehouse operations of Sani Steel
• Monitors receipt and dispatch of materials as per standard operating processes and accurate updation of system
• Monitors stacking of materials after proper categorisation as per norms
• Monitors damaged/ defective/incomplete stock at the warehouses and finds solution for the same
• Monitors spare stock transfer from Amingaon to Paltan Bazar Depot for stocking through appropriate documentation
• Minimises variance between actual stocks at depots and book stock
• Monitors adherence to budgets to minimise cost of depot operations
• Monitors implementation of safety, health, environment norms at depots
• Monitors customer satisfaction
• Interfaces with key customers and channel partners to monitor levels of customer satisfaction
• Resolves escalated customer complaints, in accordance with SOPs,
• Monitors effective vehicle management for optimum utilisation for transportation of materials from vendors and dealer points
• Monitors arrangement of vehicles for both Hindustan Marketing Company and Cama Electricals Pvt. Ltd.to facilitate doorstep delivery across north east
• Manages own vehicles:
• Undertakes purchase of vehicles and on road deployment as per business needs
• Monitors maintenance through outsourced agencies
• Tracks vehicle document renewals as mandated by statutes
• Tracks insurance renewals and claims in coordination with finance
• Supervises management of outsourced vehicles
• Finalises transporters and rates for remote locations
• Facilitates payment
• Verifies vehicle utilisation report
• Takes responsibility for claim settlement with respect to Principal:
• Monitors timely updation of principals portal with excess, shortage, damages as per physical inspection done by the warehouse and submission of return request and claim
• Resolves issues with respect issue of replacement or credit note for return
• Follows up for receiving proper settlement of claims on time
• Monitors effective management of pool of drivers:
• Leads recruitment and induction of drivers
• Partnering in formulation of policies for accommodation, food and other benefits and monitoring execution
• Audits renewal of driver licence, periodic health and eye check up for drivers
• Approves trip advance disbursement and adjustment as per policy and standard operating processes
• Approves Incentive payment to drivers and helpers
• Liaises with dealers for vehicle tracking, returns, claims and resolution of grievances through periodic visit and structured interactions
