Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Vendor Management :

  • Identify and onboard new vendors as per organizational requirements.
  • Conduct initial negotiations to finalize pricing and service terms.
  • Finalize vendors in alignment with SOPs and compliance standards.
  • Ensure timely submission of bills from all vendors.
  • Verify vendor bills in accordance with agreed terms and contracts.
  • Process timely vendor payments to maintain strong business relationships.
  • Ensure full audit compliance related to vendor management processes.

2. Management Information System (MIS) :

  • Prepare and maintain daily and monthly MIS reports.
  • Track and report Logistics Cost vs. Revenue.
  • Monitor and update Daily Workload (WL).
  • Maintain daily inward and outward shipment reports.
  • Track Logistics TAT for Local, National, and International shipments.

3. Budgeting and Provisioning :

  • Participate in annual budgeting and planning activities.
  • Submit monthly financial provisions to the accounts team.
  • Ensure monthly budget adherence and prevent overspending beyond forecasts.
  • Conduct monthly budget variance analysis and highlight deviations (positive or negative).

4. Material Management & Distribution :

  • Plan CDS materials in coordination with subordinates.
  • Monitor state-level inventory across all cities; coordinate regularly with Business Heads (BHs).
  • Approve debit/credit notes for all franchisee lab locations.
  • Conduct inventory checks as per SOP.
  • Maintain stock days in alignment with SOP standards.
  • Ensure accurate E-way bill generation.
  • Manage timely distribution of consumables to clients.
  • Review and approve PRs based on previous consumption trends and future forecasting.
  • Coordinate closely with the Procurement team to resolve material shortages.
  • Ensure adherence to audit norms and compliance requirements.

5. Shipment Movement & Reverse Logistics :

  • Review and approve route planning and daily rounds for logistics associates; ensure proper documentation.
  • Conduct random checks/audits on logistics associates for log-sheet maintenance.
  • Implement route optimization strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide regular training to logistics associates for handling TCL shipments.
  • Ensure zero cash leakage in daily collections from clients.
  • Monitor national shipment movement within defined geography.
  • Ensure audit compliance for all logistics operations.
  • Coordinate and monitor international shipment movements.
