Job Title: Logistics Assistant (Import/Export)
Location: Thane, Mumbai
Working Days: Monday-Saturday

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and handle all documentation related to import and export shipments (shipping bills, invoices, packing lists, BL, COO, etc.).
• Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, and transporters for smooth cargo movement.
• Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any logistics issues.
• Ensure compliance with all customs regulations, DGFT requirements, and trade laws.
• Assist in preparing letters of credit, bank documentation, and other financial instruments for international trade.
• Maintain records of imports and exports, updating systems with accurate shipment and clearance data.
• Support in vendor coordination, rate negotiation, and logistics cost optimisation.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the logistics and supply chain team.

Qualifications:

• Graduate in Commerce / International Business / Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in import-export logistics or international trade operations.
• Knowledge of customs clearance, shipping procedures, and international trade documentation is a must.
• Familiarity with Tally / ERP systems preferred.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
