Logistics Executive

We are looking for a smart and organized Logistics Executive to help us manage our

deliveries, transporters, and warehouse coordination. The person will make sure that all

customer orders are delivered on time, with proper documents, and at the best possible cost.

Main Responsibilities

1. Delivery & Dispatch Coordination

Handle day-to-day dispatches of goods from our warehouses.

Talk to transport companies for vehicle bookings and ensure timely pickup and

delivery.

Track deliveries and update customers and internal teams about shipment status.

2. Finding and Managing Transporters

Search for reliable and affordable transporters across India.

Take freight quotes, compare prices, and negotiate for the best deals.

Keep a record of transporter rates, service areas, and contacts.

3. Preparing Documents

Make Invoices, Delivery Orders (DO), E-Way Bills, and COA using ERP software.

Share these documents with customers and transporters as needed.

Keep records of dispatches and goods sent from each warehouse.

4. Warehouse Coordination

Work with warehouse staff to check stock availability before dispatch.

Make sure the right products are packed and ready for pickup.

Track lot numbers and storage location of goods in the warehouse.

5. Handling Issues

Solve problems like shipment delays, damages, or delivery errors quickly.

Maintain good communication with transporters and customers.

Ensure all logistics follow safety rules, especially for chemical materials.

6. Reporting and Tracking

Make regular reports about deliveries, transport costs, and any issues.

Keep an eye on expenses and suggest ways to save costs or improve service.

Skills Needed

Good knowledge of delivery and logistics work.

Experience with shipping chemicals or sensitive goods is a plus.

Understanding of documents like E-Way Bill and LR (Lorry Receipt).

Good at using Excel and ERP systems (like Tally, Busy, Marg, etc.).

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Well-organized and good with multitasking.

Honest, detail-oriented, and dependable.

Education & Experience

Graduate in Commerce, Supply Chain, or related field.

23 years of hands-on logistics or dispatch experience.
